A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

Fight off waves of zombies in this atmospheric 3D shooter. Faded Mist is an early prototype where you'll face endless hordes of undead in a foggy, low-poly world. Can you survive?

Current state:

This is an early prototype. Expect bugs, placeholder art, and a limited feature set. More content and features are planned, including new enemy types, weapons, and abilities.

Feedback:

I'm looking for feedback on the core gameplay loop and overall feel. Is it fun? Is it too hard or too easy? Let me know

Note:

This prototype was initially based on a tutorial, but the code has been heavily modified for my own needs and ideas. I will make my own assets, models and map in the future

Can't switch between weapons

Cool game, though it gets boring rather fast. I suggest giving the zombies different abilities; change the path finding and other stuff (ranged enemies?).

Now, you can just run in a circle and win (so fun).

Anyways, peak first game; fix for linux was done in 3 minutes (really cool)

Alright, thanks for the feedback, will try to change those as soon as I can

I can't re-create your switching weapons issue, it works for me, do you remember what you were doing when it stopped working?

Can't launch (skill issue ofc); Arch Linux, everything latest, tried several proton versions, wine, bottles, and proton tricks.

Error: Couldn't load project data at path "." Is the .pck file missing?
If you've renamed the executable, the associated .pck file should also be renamed to match the executable's name (without the extension).
